What to expect in class...

ANATOMY

Gain confidence in your knowledge of the anatomy of the shoulders, how they get full of tension, and how to effectively release that tension to help your clients feel their best.

SYMPTOMS

Understand the symptoms of shoulder tension (AKA trigger points) and what your clients will tell you so you know to release the shoulder (hint: it's not just a pain in the shoulder!)

DEMONSTRATION

Students will feel confidence in knowing where to actually begin this treatment and then each of the steps necessary to balance the tensional system around the shoulder girdle.  This is amazing work!  Your clients will LOVE this!

STRESS AND TREATMENT

All our classes are trauma informed.  Pain and trauma activate stress which activates tension in the body.

Students gain skills to soften the clients' nervous systems to ease that tension.  All your work, with every single client,

is more effective.

 So. Many. Shoulders.

The shoulder is the most freely movable joint in the body.  With that great potential for movement comes great potential for things to go wrong.

Folks come in with pain around the shoulder, numbness and tingling down the arms into the hands, or maybe pain deep in the shoulder joint.  They can't reach behind them.  They can't reach above their heads to comb their hair.  They can't carry things.  Perhaps they can't even reach their arm out to the side.  There are many different ways shoulder dysfunction manifests in your clients and I want to help you make sense of it all.  It's actually pretty simple once you understand the mechanics.  And that's my specialty!

In this training you'll learn right where you want to begin with releasing shoulder issues, perhaps far away from where you might think we should begin.  We will explore together via powerpoint presentation, palpation, Q&A, demonstrations and practice time of the actual treatment itself.  The rotator cuff muscles are actually the grand finale!

Have a client with stubborn shoulder issues that you need help with?  Bring that question!  Got your own shoulder trouble?  Ask me about self treatment!

I hope you'll join us for this lively and super useful training.  Sign up and help more clients live their best pain-free life!
