HELPING YOU BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE

MY TEACHING IS NOT SIMPLY SHOWING YOU ANATOMY PICTURES AND THEN DEMONSTRATING TECHNIQUE.

MY GOAL FOR YOU IS TO REALLY GAIN DEEP UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE MUSCLES YOU ARE WORKING WITH, HOW THEY DEVELOP TENSION AND CAUSE YOUR CLIENTS' PAIN, AND HOW TO EFFECTIVELY RELEASE THAT TENSION TO CREATE GREATER EASE IN YOUR CLIENTS.

Here's a glimpse at what you'll be getting in the LIVE training of

Releasing the Quadriceps and Hamstrings

ANATOMY

I teach you where these muscles live and what they do

We also explore how they interact and how they get into trouble.

SITTING IS THE NEW SMOKING?

Learn how prolonged sitting and associated postures make these muscles unhappy and what exactly good posture means!

SYMPTOMS

What will your clients say to you if they have tension in the quads and hammies?  What are their symptoms?  Find out and help them right away!

DEMONSTRATION

I clearly show you how to warm up the hamstrings and quads, and then how to effectively release tension in these muscles.  Your clients will feel very different when they get off the table!

About Releasing the Quads and Hamstrings LIVE

7 CEs  NCBTMB

In this LIVE in-person training, I guide students through the anatomy of the quadriceps and hamstring muscles, where they MEET, and important structures nearby.  You will learn where the muscles reside in the thigh, how they act on the hip, pelvis, and knee, and what gets them into trouble.  Students will learn what kinds of symptoms the quads and hamstrings cause and what your clients will say to let you know to work on them, and where to focus your attention.   Knee pain ANYwhere in the knee and around the knee joint, in the back of the knee, knee buckling, pain when going up or down stairs, pain at the hamstring attachment... these are all symptoms that you will be able to effectively treat after taking this training.

After I give you all that anatomy background and talk about what causes tension in these muscles, I then guide you through each step of the protocol, including warming, trigger point location and release.

After the demonstration, we break for lunch and then return to trade and practice on each other. If time allows, we spend a little bit of time rolling on foam rollers and therapy balls to find the points in ourselves which makes it easier to locate them in your clients.
